Hello there, my jelly beans! I hope that you're all having a wonderful week. I've mentioned my love for cute stationery quite a few times on the blog by now, and today's post is all about that. I feel that in this day and age where everything is so digitalised, the art of handwriting and printed media in general are becoming less and less relevant; and that makes me feel a little sad! I think that there is just something so relaxing and enjoyable about putting pen to paper. Today, I want to give you loves a little sneak peek into my favourite planner that I've been using this year - the Kikki K time planner from their Cute collection (not sponsored, by the way - I wish!); and give you a little review of it in case you're interested in getting one. I got sucked into buying one of these following all the positive reviews on YouTube, and today, I'm excited to share my thoughts on it. Hope you enjoy!
All of the Kikki K planners look and feel absolutely gorgeous. This particular one has a handmade fabric front cover, which looks super cute, but it can get dirty quite easily so I'd recommend storing it somewhere safe. The size is fairly large (just a little bigger than A5), although you can get these in a smaller size, also. Above you can see the very first page of the planner, with some sticky notes, a little pouch and a cute heart-shaped keyring (I bought it separately from the same collection). Honestly, I love this setup - it's cute, girly, but also very practical. You get separate sections for monthly and weekly planners, expenses, birthdays and anniversaries, addresses and notes. There is also a separate pouch for storing your stationery accessories (I store it separately as it is a little bulky), two pages worth of planner stickers and a large notepad at the back.
Here's a little look at the monthly and weekly spreads - I've filled in both so they might seem a little cluttered (I love over-decorating)! Although there already quite a few cute graphics printed on all the pages, I really enjoy adding my own stickers and decorations. For the monthly pages, I bought these special/wacky holiday stickers on Etsy, and I usually just mark any birthdays and important occasions. I use the weekly pages to plan in more detail - this includes any daily activities, to-do lists, and also everything related to blogging (post ideas, publishing and photo-editing dates). I have a huge collection of stickers that I use for decorating these - I did a whole separate post on those, if you're interested in checking them out!
Here are just a few examples of the inserts that you get with the planner - there are quite a lot! There are pages for birthdays, anniversaries, expenses, addresses, and also your own personal notes. You get at least ten double-sided pages in each section, which is likely a lot more than I could ever fill up! Also, if you are interested in expanding your planner, I definitely recommend checking out Etsy - there are lots of custom planner inserts by incredibly talented designers. I particularly love the custom inserts by NBplanner - I use their website and password tracker, as well as the wellness tracker. ThePlannerEmporium is another favourite - although a little more expensive, their creations are absolutely stunning - I just ordered their meal planner, and I'm looking forward to adding it to my inserts (not sponsored, by the way - I just love their stuff and wanted to give them a shout-out)!
Overall, I am absolutely in love with this Kikki K time planner, and I'd recommend it to all the stationery enthusiasts out there. It's cute, practical, girly and has everything you could possibly want in a planner. The only downside is the high price, although I've seen quite a few discounts going round, especially on their older collections. I would say that if you're not too serious about planning and it isn't something that you'd see yourself doing regularly, then it's probably worth looking for something cheaper. However, if you love cute stationery, planning and decorating, then it's definitely worth the investment! x
