Hello, loves! Today, I want to talk to you about something a little different, and not beauty-related. If you have been visiting my blog for a while, you might know that I am completely obsessed with cute stationery! I absolutely love collecting notebooks, journals, stickers and colourful pens. I feel that in this day and age where everything is digitalized, the art of handwriting and printed media in general are becoming less and less relevant, and that makes me feel a little sad! I love keeping journals and just writing my thoughts down on paper - something about it feels very relaxing, and more meaningful than typing things up on a computer. Today, I would like to show you my collection (it isn't big, but it is very special!), and share a few of my favourite stationery finds. Hope you enjoy!
These are honestly my all-time favourite planners, and I have mentioned them a few times on my blog before (not sponsored, by the way!). They are are not only adorable, but also very practical, and they actually make me look forward to planning out my weekly activities. These planners include pages for your weekly and monthly schedule, cute graphics on every page (featuring the Japanese cartoon character, Molang) and lots of room for your personal notes. You can get these on eBay for about £10 - just search for 'Molang diary'. There are tons of different colours and designs to choose from, and they come out with a new edition every season!
I can never resist a beautiful notebook, even though I have way too many and sometimes it's hard to find use for all of them. My fellow stationery lovers will understand the struggle - you find one that's really cute, and even though you know that you don't actually need another one, you just can't help the temptation! One of my favourite notebooks at the moment is this incredibly cool 'Girl Power' pink spiral notebook, featuring all the different DC Comics female superheroes. I've found this at a local geek shop, but it's also available on eBay for about £6!
Other favourites include this absolutely adorable, fluffy unicorn notebook by Smiggle (£9.99), which comes equipped with a little lock, making it perfect to keep as a personal diary. I have also been loving this small Rilakkuma pad found on eBay that I use for jotting down blog ideas, and a Hello Kitty spiral notebook which is part of the new stationery range at WHSmith (£8).
Last, but definitely not least - how pretty is this Paris-themed journal (Paperchase, £12)? This is definitely more of a traditional design - I like how it looks a little vintage, and almost 'old-fashioned'. The cover is entirely hand-stitched and beautifully detailed, with the Eiffel Tower at the centre. The journal itself is very practical with 200 pages of quality paper. I haven't found a proper use for it yet, but I just adore looking at it because it is so gorgeous!
I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post, my loves! I also wanted to address the fact that I haven't been posting as much on this blog in the recent months... My life has been a little all over the place lately, and it's been difficult to find the time to sit down and write. Life slips away so quickly, and before I know it, I've gone two weeks without posting! Still, I'm determined to stick to a more regular schedule and try to post at least once a week, and I hope you stick around! :) Thank you for your love, patience and support! x
