Christmas Beauty Tag!

Hello muffins! With Christmas just a couple of days away, I thought it would be a good time to do my Christmas beauty tag. I'd like to thank Girl Abroad for tagging me - make sure you check out her awesome blog! As far as I know, there aren't any specific rules for this tag, aside from answering ten beauty-related questions. Since we are already so close to Christmas, I personally won't be tagging anyone else. However, if you like the idea of this tag, please feel free to do it and let me know in the comments below so I can check it out!

1) Have you been naughty or nice this year with your skincare routine?
To be honest, my skincare habits this year have been all over the place. Some days I'm good and follow every step of my routine, some days I come home and fall asleep with my makeup on. This is definitely something I need to work on!

2) What’s the go-to beauty, makeup or skincare product you would gift to your family and friends?
It would have to be the Le Volume mascara by Chanel. I wish I could gift it to everyone in the world, so they could try it and find out how amazing it is! Other than that, my go-to beauty gifts include perfumes and hand creams (preferably as cute, Christmas-themed collection sets).

3 ) Do you prefer gifting high-end products or drugstore products to others?
I don't have much of a preference. Drugstore makeup can be just as good as high-end products!

4) What are the beauty products you’re hoping to get to see under your Christmas tree this year?
I would love to finally get my hands on one of the Naked palettes by Urban Decay. They have been on my wishlist for years! I'm not sure which one is the best, but I'm really loving the look of the Naked Smoky palette right now.

5) What is the beauty product that you’re dreading to receive for Christmas this year?
No such thing! I'd be happy with any beauty gift.

6) Are you are beauty blogger participating in Blogmas this year? If so what is the post you’re most proud of so far?
Nah, I admire people who do Blogmas, but I wouldn't manage it myself. It's all about quality, not quantity for me and I know I wouldn't be able to write a decent post every day for three weeks.

7) Do you remember the first beauty product you received as a Christmas present? What was it and did you enjoy it?
Actually, I don't remember ever receiving a beauty product for Christmas, aside maybe from things like body lotions, hand creams etc. My family was never too big on makeup, and my first 'serious' beauty product was something I purchased for myself. It was actually the setting powder by Collection 2000, and I used to really cake it on - it was my primer, concealer and foundation all in one!

8) What mini size product would you recommend as a great stocking filler?
Perfumes, of course! Mini perfumes are a fantastic gift idea - you get a chance to try a selection of scents as opposed to just one, so you'll likely to find something you enjoy!

9) Would you rather your friends and family ask you gifts you wanted to receive or have them surprise you?
I think surprise gifts are better, especially for Christmas. There is something exciting about anticipating what you're going to find under the Christmas tree!

10) What is your favourite way to show Christmas spirit through your look or outfit?
I don't really do anything differently around Christmas, except maybe for Christmas jumpers. I love wearing those all throughout winter! I also have a thing for cute, comfy Christmas-themed pyjamas.

What beauty products are you hoping to find under your Christmas tree this year?
