The Lip Product Tag!

A few weeks ago I was invited by the lovely Trishna to do the 'Lip Product Addict' tag - thanks so much, girl! I really enjoyed reading this tag on other blogs, and I'm excited to finally do it myself. Hope you enjoy!

What is your favourite balm or treatment?
I absolutely adore the EOS lip balms - they're incredibly hydrating and smell delicious (my favourite is the pink one - 'Strawberry Sorbet'). These are a little on the pricey side, but you can purchase a set of five different scents for just £13 on Amazon. I also really like the Mandara Spa lip butters, and the Burt's Bees lip balm range.

What is your favourite eye-catching red?
There are so many wonderful, red lipsticks out there, but the one I always keep going back to is the L'Oreal Colour Riche in Scarlett Creme. It's such a vibrant, intense red shade, and I just love the creamy formula. You can see it in action in my Get Ready With Me - Autumn Edition post!

Best luxury and drugstore product?
My favourite high-end product would have to be the Yves Saint Laurent solid lipstick in the dark berry shade, which is part of the YSL Makeup Palette (Black Edition). The palette doesn't specify the exact name of the shade, but you can see me wearing it in the photo below! As for my favourite drugstore product, I've been really enjoying The Only One moisturising lipsticks by Rimmel.

Best MAC lipstick?
Whilst I don't have much experience with MAC lipsticks, I love the look of some their reds such as Ruby Woo and Russian Red.

Most disappointing lip product?
Thankfully, I'm usually quite happy with my makeup purchases. I wasn't a huge fan of the Burt's Bees lip gloss range, although it wasn't really 'disappointing' as I didn't have high hopes for it in the first place. These glosses smell amazing and look great in the packaging; however, they offer zero pigmentation and don't last for longer than ten minutes.

Lip liner: yes or no?
Whilst I appreciate the difference a good lip liner can make, I don't really feel the need to use them. Lining my lips seems like too much effort for a casual makeup routine (although I'm probably in a minority saying that)! For special occasions, a good lipstick is more than enough. Having said that, I would like to get into using lip liners properly sometime.

Favourite lip gloss?
I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss, but I absolutely adore the Addict Mirror Shine Volume & Care range by Dior. These glosses are lightweight, non-sticky, and feel a lot more like a creamy lip balm, rather than a sticky gloss. If you're interested, check out my full review of the Dior Addict glosses here!

Anything else?
Yes! I recently discovered the High Volume Lip Maximizer by Dior, and I can honestly say that it's the best lip plumper I've ever tried. It's a non-sticky gloss that only comes in one, natural-looking shade. It feels smooth and comfortable on the lips, and really makes them look fuller.

I'd like to tag these lovely ladies:
Demi-Lee at DenbraberBeauty
Jasmine at The Sixth Disney Princess
Alice at Girl Abroad
Andrea at A Glimpse of Glam
Sally at Diagon Sally
Candice at Beauty Candy Loves
Yana at TimeWithYana

If you haven't been tagged but are interested in doing it, please feel free to pick it up! There aren't any specific rules for this, as far as I know.
